App development is the process of creating software applications that run on mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. It involves designing, coding, testing, and publishing apps to app stores for users to download.
Step 1: Learn a Programming Language like Java, Swift, or Kotlin depending upon in which development you are interested. If you want to develop an Android app, you can learn Java or Kotlin and for iOS app you can learn Swift.
Step 2: For Android development, download Android Studio and learn the basic commands to develop and deploy the apps on Google Play Store.
As for iOS, Xcode is required and for that you will need MacOSX environment.Having said that, you can actually create code within any editor of your choice. However, you are not going to be able to easily debug the code, and you will need a MacOSX environment to deploy the project to the App Store.
Step 3: Thoroughly test the app to identify and fix any bugs or issues. This can be done using automated testing tools or manual testing by a team of quality assurance (QA) testers.
Step 4: Once the app is fully functional and tested, it can be published to an app store such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To publish your app on app stores, so the users can download it, you have to register for Google play developer account by paying 25 US$ one-time registration fee.
For iOS, you have to pay 99 US$ annual fee to deploy your app on Apple App Store.
Step 5: Monitor and update the app: After the app is released, monitor its performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Release updates as needed to fix bugs and add new features.
